The thirty-eighth annual symposium held in conjunction with the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® took place on Saturday, 11 February, 2017.  The symposium was cosponsored by the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society, the Friends of Mineralogy, and the Mineralogical Society of America.  As a tie in with the show, the symposium theme was the same as the show theme: “Mineral Treasures of the Midwest”.  The speakers and their talks were Click Here.

5th Annual Mineralogical Symposium: SPHALERITE AND WURTZITE: THE ZNS POLYMORPHS, was be sponsered by the chapter.  The symposium was held on Saturday March 11, 2017, at Shideler Hall, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
